I really enjoy the images movements. They are like twitching bugs- the disappearances gave me a similar insect image and made me acknowledge the squares.
I think I want to make this a lot darker. I also think it would benefit from more deliberate moving of the parts... maybe have the little pieces of paper only move around the wing area. I think revealing a new image underneath the moth drawing would be interesting, too.
This is cool! I enjoyed the settle movements in the beginning and the "sudden" disappearance of the squares in the second half. The drawing looked exactly like the photo, oh! and adding the "vintage" effect = great idea, since the original looks vintage. Awesome! Also, i agree - maybe adding another drawing or even a photograph (that you took) of moth would make it more interesting. Hmmm, maybe a colored photograph? ...I don't know, just a suggestion. Either way, I still enjoyed it. ^^b!
it looks like you put a lot of time into remaking that piece..and it came out very nicely...i was thinking about how i would have recreated that piece had i chosen it..and i thought it would neat to have the pieces move around like the puzzles consisting of boxes and one empty space...but your way looks really cool too haha
It's like peek-a-boo, which is always an entertaining game, making for an entertaining video. I found myself wanting to hold onto a particular square when they were being taken away and watching closely as each set was removed to see if my one was still left. So overall, it made me feel like I was playing a game, which I enjoyed. I feel like your concept was very well thought out. I agree that maybe a more deliberate moving of parts might be interesting though.
